Sunday's One Stop, Blog Hop

Good Sunday, Stampin Friends!

Here again this week with picks of my favorite stamped cards from around the blogosphere.  There are so many inspirational stampers out there and I love bringing some of their ideas to my blog to inspire you.  (I think I'm in a watercolor mood right now and you can tell through my picks this week.  ;) We all need a little extra confidence and creative boost from time to time.  Stop, relax, and enjoy these cards today and try your own creations as well.

Be blessed,
barb

Coloring Card "From The Herd"

Hello Stamping Friends!

Back again today with a new sketch challenge card from Lynda Cooke, a designer at Try Stampin' -or not- On Tuesday.  I must admit, I almost opted out of this challenge....not because it was too hard, it just felt like my creative mojo was almost gone.  I'm still not quite sure if I LOVE this card, but I decided to call it a "coloring card" and will use it as a kid's card so they can color all of the fun animals.  It's growing on me.   ;-)

Hope you enjoy my card and try the sketch out for yourself.  Don't forget to link your card post to the Try Stampin' blog.  You'll be happy you joined in the fun!

blessings,
barb

My 'coloring' card:

Lot's of dimension on this card.  It always adds interest.

If you don't want to color the images, use it as a kids card and let them color it!  ;-)

Don't you just love the expressions on these cute faces?  LOL  It makes me smile!

Sunday's One Stop, Blog Hop!

Hello Stampin' Friends,
Wow.....this has been a very busy season in our lives, and stamping has still founds it's way into a tiny bit of free time, but blogging....sadly, that's a little different story.   I will try to update as often as I can, so keep checking in with me, ok?

As always, for Sunday's One Stop, Blog Hop, I try to find lovely works of paper crafted art on the web to share with you.  Here is the latest group of my favorites.

Enjoy and Happy Stampin'!

Gifts of Kindness For TSOT

Hello Stamping Friends,
It's been a busy season around our household, but so blessed and rewarding as well; full of joy and gratitude!

Today is Tuesday and with that comes a new sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday.  Without delay....here is the sketch and my take on it.

If you have time this week, try this sketch and then hop on over to the TSOT blog and submit your card.  Playing along with blog challenges will become something you look forward to each week.  It's lots of fun!

I also wanted to mention that I submitted my card to a new blog challenge as well.  It's called Just Us Girls blog challenge.  :-)

Enjoy!

This sketch has many possibilities!
It's a Spring Theme!

My card:
When I was designing my card I decided to make it a flat panel with a sentiment mini card as the focal point.  I used the beautiful and "springy" All Abloom designer series stack as my background and color scheme.  The images are from the Gifts of Kindness stamp set.  A little Pistachio twine and basic pearls were the perfect classy details for me.  I really like how this turned out.  ;)

Card with envelope:
I made my envelope with the Envelope Punch Board and In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack, using Strawberry Slush.  It's SO EASY to create a coordinating envelope for your unusally sized cards.  The Word Window punch is just right for smaller sentiments; highlights and frames so perfectly.

A few details:
Inside of my mini-card I stamped my birthday sentiment on In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack using Pistachio Pudding paper and punched it out with the Modern Label Punch.

Have a wonderful week and Happy Stamping!
