Fabulous Garden Impressions

Hello Stamping Friends,

I'm back today from a long weekend of board gaming!  Yep!  You read correctly.  lol  My husband and I are board gamers and we attend a convention twice a year in Dallas, Texas called Board Game Geek.  It's a great time and sometimes I even bring a little stamping along if I get tired of playing games.  Yes!  I am proof that the two interests can be combined.  So....onto the card making side of my hobbies!

When I pre-ordered this paper from Stampin' Up! I had no idea just how much I would fall in love with it.  Oh my goodness, folks.  If you love florals and bright colors, this dsp is just for you.

I gained inspiration from Mary Fish's card here,  but I changed a few things up to make it my own.  (Thank you, Mary!)

Here is what I came up with using the new Garden Impressions designer series paper, and brand new in-color, Pineapple Punch cardstock and ribbon.
I hope you enjoy it and are looking forward to the new 2018-19 SU annual catalog as much as I have.  It's going to be an amazing year of paper crafting!

Blessings,
barb

Hello Creative Friends,

Here today with one of my favorite features of my blog:  Monday's One Stop, Blog Hop, where I bring you some of my most favorite paper crafting finds from around the web!  I hope you gain inspiration from these creations and visit the designer's blogs to see what else they've created.

Come back this week to see what I'm designing and sharing as well.  I had some fun in my office last week!

Blessings and Happy Stampin!

Tic Tac Tuesday#3 for TSOT

Hello Creative Friends,

I'm here today with a Tic Tac Tuesday challenge from the ladies over at Try Stampin-Or Not-On Tuesday
Here is the challenge.  Pretty fun, right?

I hope you like the card today.  Leave me a comment if you have an extra minute and tell your friends to hop on over for a visit, too!

Blessings and Happy Stamping,

So, I chose the bottom, horizontal row:  Green, Outdoors, and Oval.  I used the Share What You Love, Gotta Have It All bundle!

My card

I actually used Rich Razzleberry as a single base panel and then used the Share What You Love dsp as the full card mounted on top.  I lined the inside with shimmery white insert.

Thank You in Blues, Greens, and Gems

Hello Creative Friends,

I have to be really honest and tell you that sometimes I just lose my creative mojo.  This last year it was truly just gone.  I didn't feel well and needed surgery and the last thing on my mind was being creative or making cards.
So, I am getting myself back into gear and just playing around with paper, colors, and different products.  I may not LOVE every single thing I make, but I'm still going to share with you because creativity is a process!  Thanks for joining me on the journey.  <3

Enjoy and Happy Stampin'

I started out with paper scraps from the retiring Naturally Eclectic dsp and arranged them together with the retiring Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon in Emerald Envy.  The sentiment, however is brand new in the upcoming 2018-19 catalog and is from the set called Accented Blooms, and stamped in Night of Navy.

I used the Tailored Tag punch which had been previously released in the 2018 Occasions catalog and happily, will carry over to the 2018-19 SU annual catalog.

Finally, few little accent pearls finish the look.  These pretty little artisan pearls coordinate with the new stunning Share What You Love suite of products

Lovely Mosaic For The As You See It Challenge #176

Hello Creative Friends,

I'm here on Tuesday for the As You See It Challenge which was to create a card with a mosaic vibe.  Here was the challenge sketch:

And here was my take on the sketch.  I had been using quite a bit of the newly released Stampin' Up! Share What You Love designer series paper, and had a bunch of these odd shaped "scraps" leftover, so here ya go!  I'm calling it Lovely Mosaic.
I hope you enjoy!

Petal Pink, a new color for the 2018-19 color re-vamp is the base for my card.  The Shaded Spruce panel is also brand new!  I think they are so gorgeous together.

The details on my card are subtle because I love how this specialty dsp speaks for itself.  The color combo is just lovely.

The bow on my card is done up in retiring Tranquil Tide Finely Woven Ribbon, while the silver flower embellishment is from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.

I'm Back and One Stop, Blog Hop Is Back...Moving To Mondays!

Hello stamping friends...
And welcome back to my Quick and Easy Stamping blog!  It's been nearly a year since I have shared any of my work or posts with you and I must say that I am very excited to be back blogging again!
I wanted to kick off my return with a One Stop, Blog Hop but instead of on Sundays, I'm moving this weekly post to Mondays.  Every Monday needs some creative inspiration in it, right?  So, I hope that each Monday, my "finds" for beautiful paper crafting projects will be inspiring!

Now...
Each of the amazing projects that I will share here has the name of the designer on the card photo.  Visit those blogs and say hi to those designers.  What beautiful work they share so willingly with all of us!

Also...
A  brand new Stampin' Up! catalog is on it's way and will be going live on June 1st!  I simply cannot wait for this catty release.  It is my favorite, maybe of my whole 15 years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!   It's really fun and amazing and I will be sharing my love of it right here on my blog.  So, come back often and check in with me.  Don't forget to leave lots of comments with your thoughts, ideas, or questions.  I'd love to hear from you!

Many Blessings and Happy Stampin'!
