Label Punch Birthday and SFF Challenge

Hello Stamping Friends,
I'm back with yet another masculine card for you today.  I'm also revisiting a very old stamped background technique for the sketch challenge from the ladies over at Sketch Frenzy Friday.

Here is my take:

And here is the sketch:
I created the background panel by stamping over a whole sheet of cardstock
(called One Sheet Wonder technique) with the Clockworks stamp set with Perfect Plum, Baked Brown Sugar, Island Indigo, and Summer Starfruit.  For the focal point, I used my Big Shot, Window Frame Framelits, and the new Label punch.  Below is my
"One Sheet Wonder"
I wasn't quite sure about this color combo as I looked at the whole sheet, but when I cut it to use smaller portions, I really liked it.  It's kind of different and I am enjoying experimenting.  :)  Hope you get some stamping time soon and try this time-tested technique.

  1. Great masculine card! These colors look great together! Thanks for joining us at Sketch Frenzy Friday!

  2. I like the background that you created for this card!!! Really nicely done. The colors combined along with the image make this a beautiful card. Thanks so much for playing along with us over at SFF.
