Hearts and Watercolor Pencils

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy New Year!

I'm happily back today with a brand new card for a brand new theme challenge from the fine stampers at TGIF Challenges.  I was so excited to delve into a new creative challenge so here we go!  Enjoy!

Thank you for stopping by!  If you can leave a comment and share your stamping journey, I'd love to hear from you.  And, if you'd like to use me as your Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I'd love to earn your business.

Blessings!

Theme Challenge:  LOVE

My Card:
For the front panel of my card I used Stampin' Up! new watercolor pencils, watercolor paper, aqua painters, silver foil paper, Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, and a clear Wink of Stella brush.  The sentiment is from Oh So Succulent stamp set.

To achieve this watercolor look:
Using the side of your pencil, lay down a swath of color one after the other on a watercolor paper panel.  I used Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, and Real Red.  Squeeze some water into the tip of an aqua painter brush and apply to your penciled colors.  I colored one color at a time and then blended to my liking.
Quick and Easy!

Inside Details:
The inside sentiment is from the new Love Sparkles stamp set in the recently released Occasions catalog.  The embellishments are pearls colored with a red Sharpie marker and the star on the heart is from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.

Happy Stamping!
