"Thank you" For Try Stampin' On Tuesday

Hello Stamping Friends,

Back today with a new card for the Try Stampin'-Or Not-On Tuesday sketch challenge.  It's a really great sketch and, if I can be honest here, one with which I agonized for most of the day yesterday!  However, I relaxed a little bit, took a break for a country ride and an ice cream cone, and then came home and made this card.  lol  I'm pretty happy with my results and I hope you enjoy it too.

Happy Stamping,
barb

My card:

I used Stampin' markers, (Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Smokey Slate, So Saffron, and Crumb Cake) to color the holly and the bird, then blended the colors on my bird with a blender pen.

A few details:
The triple bow, made with linen thread, was my finishing touch.  It's the little things.  :-)
I will link to the youtube video to show you how to make this simple bow.

Sunday's One Stop, Blog Hop

Good Sunday, Stampin Friends!

Here again this week with picks of my favorite stamped cards from around the blogosphere.  There are so many inspirational stampers out there and I love bringing some of their ideas to my blog to inspire you.  (I think I'm in a watercolor mood right now and you can tell through my picks this week.  ;) We all need a little extra confidence and creative boost from time to time.  Stop, relax, and enjoy these cards today and try your own creations as well.

Be blessed,
barb
