I'm Back!

Hello Stamping Friends!

Can it be the end of February already?  In my last post we were ringing in the new year!

January was such a busy month and I felt like I was coming and going with prep for stamping events. Then February hit and both my husband and I came down with Influenza.  31/2 weeks later and we are finally feeling more like our normal selves, but lots of life stuff just fell by the wayside this month, and this blog was one of those things.

Soooo, it's been way too long since I've written and shared any new card designs with you, so I thought I would jump in with a One Stop, Blog Hop first and then create a new card to share with you in a couple of days.  (I'm literally trying to make up for a missed month of Sundays!)  ;-)

Hello Creative Friends!

I'm so happy to be back with you for another Try Stampin'-Or Not-On Tuesday sketch challenge.  

The optional part of the challenge was to use ribbon on your card in some way,  so I did that with both the burlap ribbon and the satin and cotton ribbon flags.  ;-)

It's been a while since I've done any designing and I felt a little rusty, but with a good sketch like this one from design team member, Kaylin, designing was a snap!

So, onto my card!

My card today uses the Stampin' Up! Into The Woods designer series

paper, burlap ribbon, the Banner Blessings stamp set and a few other retired ribbons.   

The details:

A little bit of colorful ribbon goes a long way with busy designer paper.  I like the added color this ribbon brings to the card.
