Friend Friday!

Hello Stamping Friends,
Well, today begins a new feature on the Quick And Easy stamping blog.  Friend Friday is here and each Friday, I will be posting a card from a stamping friend  ;)  So, last weekend one of my friends who attended stamp camp, altered one of the cards and made it into this darling anniversary card.   The card base was created using a piece of Lost Lagoon cut at 10.5 x 5.5, and scored at 8.5, 4.25, and perforated at 2 inches using the perforating blade on the Stampin' Trimmer.  Then, I punched the top of the 2" piece using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  I learned this card technique from Glenda Calkin's website.  Also, just a little tip:  If you need a accent piece of glimmer paper, like we used for the sun, just take a marker and color the glimmer paper.  There you have your perfectly coordinated accent piece.  ;) Whatever you create this weekend, have a fun time!

Here is Rena's card.  Thank you Rena, for allowing me to share it.

Like Playing In the Fall Leaves...

Hello Again,
In honor of this most glorious season, autumn, I offer another fall card for your viewing pleasure.  ;)  No inspiration challenge for this card to show you, just another stampers card to start the process.  I'll show it to you later.  Here is my card:

A little Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede inks and matching cardstock along with the Naturals Ivory, a few stamp sets to create the background including Postcard and Postage Due, and of course a little sponging.  The leaf was made with the Autumn Accents Die with Epic Day dsp. Scallop was made with the new rotary blade add on for the SU trimmer.   Hope you all enjoy!
