Golden Snowflakes TSOT #245
Hello Stamping Friends,
Back today with a new sketch from Try Stampin-Or Not-On Tuesday design team member Kaylin. I have to admit, I took several takes on this sketch and was a little stumped. lol
The optional theme is "snowflakes" so I went in that direction. This is a very "blingy" card for me, but I know that the person who receives it will love it!
After all, Christmas is about sparkle, shine, and light...and this card really reflects light! ;-)
I hope you enjoy it and are preparing for a sparkling Christmas season.
Happy Stamping,
barb

My Card:
For the base of my card I used Stampin' Up! gold foil paper.
The focal panel was made with embossed white cardstock and then layered with a piece of gold snowflake vellum.
Details:
The snowflakes and sentiment were also made with gold foil paper.
The line element on the card is made with gold bakers twine. I love the Iced Rhinestones on this card.
Stamping Supplies:

Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek: Festival of Trees
Good Wednesday, folks!
Today's card is brought to you because I found two challenges that I had to take. ;) The first stamp set that came to mind for this sketch was the new stamp set Festival of Trees and the coordinating punch soon to be released in the upcoming Stampin' Up! holiday catalog. (Release Aug 28, 2014) The of the other products used on this card are also in the holiday catty as well. This color combo challenge, was my other inspiration. I think this little card would make a really good workshop card. Quick and easy! ;) I hope you enjoy this card and hope it starts your Christmas card wheels a spinnin'!

Unconventional Christmas. Why Not?
Good Wednesday, Folks!
Found a pretty "cool" color combo at Nacho Average Challenge this week and this sketch at Sketch Frenzy Friday that truly did challenge me today.
Can you tell that I'm already dreaming of a white Christmas? LOL It's true! My card uses Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Whisper White card stock, (and ink) and Silver Glimmer paper. the stamp sets used were More Merry Messages, Greetings of the Season (for the inside) and Snowflake Soiree. The snowflake dies are retired.
Hope you enjoy my card today and spend some cool time stamping this week too. If you try a sketch, share your card with me. I'd love to see it!
blessings,
barb
