Triple Challenge Card: Clean and Simple Leaves

Hello Stampers!

I'm back today with a new fall-ish card based on three, yes, THREE challenges!  

I can't believe it worked out, but I had a vision for how all three could come together in one card, and I'm here today to show it to you.  ;-)

First, the sketch is from CAS(E) This Sketch

Second, the color scheme is from  Sunday Stamps

The background for my card was created by taking my ink pads and directly and strategically streaking my shimmery white card stock until I loved the wood look.  I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Third, the theme is from The Paper Players

I used the Vintage Leaves stamp set in the current Stampin' Up! catalog to create this simple leaf.

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's good to be back today to post an offering for the The Paper Players color challenge this week.  I have pretty much fallen head over heels in love with the Blooms and Bliss designer series paper in the new Stampin Up annual catalog.  Gosh it's so soft and pretty, and it worked perfectly with this color challenge from Nance!

Painter's Tape Technique

Hello Stampers,

     As I was surfing Pinterest today, I came upon a card that grabbed my attention. It was a new to me stamping technique using blue painter's tape.  I found the video tutorial at Stamp With Bee. (Thank you, Dianne!) It was so fun and easy that I just had to make a card tonight for two different challenges:  

A color challenge with ColourQ and a sketch challenge with Create with Connie and Mary.   The great thing about a sketch is that you can turn it and flip it and still make it your own.  Have fun with it and try to get some creative time this weekend to stamp!
