Sprinkles Of Life for TSOT #219

Hello Stamping Friends,

I'm a little late with my Try Stampin'-Or Not- On Tuesday challenge post, but it's here and I hope you love this bright, cheery and summery challenge.

The great thing about this photo is that you can take whatever inspiration you feel.  Is it the bright colors that catch your attention?  The summery vibe?  Or the weekend relaxation with a cool drink in hand?

If you want to join in the fun and submit a card for this challenge, you may do that on the TSOT blog or NOW, on the facebook page as well here:
(Try Stampin' - Or Not- On Tuesday Challenges) We would LOVE to see what you create this week.  Come join us!

Happy Stamping,
barb

Here is the photo we received for this week:

For me, as you can tell, it was the color combo!  The new Stampin' Up! dsp stack, Cherry On Top popped right into my mind, as did the new stamp set Sprinkles Of Life.

Here is my interpretation on the inspiration photo.  :-)

The green card base is the new In-Color, Cucumber Crush.  Oh, do I have a crush on this newest color!  It'll be gorgeous and so fun for summer and for Christmas alike.

The new Sprinkles Of Life stamp set also has a coordinating builder punch for several of the images.  So much fun!

Love Big: For FMS #186

Hello Stamping Friends,

Back with a new card for you today based on the very clean and fresh sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.
This layout and wide open sketch just screamed "designer series paper!" to me, so I pulled out this pretty piece from the Stampin' Up! retiring pack called Park Lane.  I liked how it set an elegant tone for the card and yet had those little dots of bright Melon Mambo as well, so I played on that fun combination for  today's card.

I hope you enjoy and find some creative inspiration this week!

You've Got This!

Hello Stamping Friends,
I come bearing a new card for you all, based on two different blog challenges posted this weekend.  First, from Can You Case It? comes the sketch.  Second, from The Paper Players comes the color scheme.
Details to follow later!
I'm sorry about the muted colors of my photos.  I had a terrible time capturing this pretty color combo.  I think it's prettier in real life.  ;)

I hope you enjoy!

My card:
It's always been one of my favorite techniques; stamping on any type of patterned paper.  You can do this with all of your designer papers and even magazine images.  It make for such interesting images.

Here I used the retiring All Abloom card stack for my flower and my little banners at the bottom.

Sometimes just a touch of lace does the trick for a card.  I love this Sahara Sand lace ribbon.  It's beautiful.
