Glad Tidings in Plaid

Hello Again, Stampers!

Today's card is a mash-up of two blog challenges that I thought would work very well together.

The first is from Paper Pal Arts.  I really liked this simple sketch, but even in it's simple style, the possibilities are endless.
Imagine all of the paper scraps you could use up that have just been lying around, or all of those rolls of washi tape!

Enjoy this fun Christmas card today!
blessings,
barb

Here is the sketch:

My card:

The second was a theme challenge from Merry Monday, to use "plaid."  The Warmth and Cheer dsp paper stack and the coordinating washi tape.

Plaid is trending!

The details on my card are created by using the Merry Tags Framelits Dies.  Oh goodness are they cool!  I love the detail in each one.

Triple Challenge Card: Clean and Simple Leaves

Hello Stampers!

I'm back today with a new fall-ish card based on three, yes, THREE challenges!
I can't believe it worked out, but I had a vision for how all three could come together in one card, and I'm here today to show it to you.  ;-)

I hope you enjoy it.

First, the sketch is from CAS(E) This Sketch

Second, the color scheme is from  Sunday Stamps

The background for my card was created by taking my ink pads and directly and strategically streaking my shimmery white card stock until I loved the wood look.  I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Third, the theme is from The Paper Players

I used the Vintage Leaves stamp set in the current Stampin' Up! catalog to create this simple leaf.

Remember, if you haven't begun your hand stamped holiday cards, it's not too late.
Here ya go!
